Mounts off the left downtube. If you have an oil cooler on the left downtube, it can be moved to the right downtube, to make room for the C-n-C Oil Filter Relo.

* Please Note: Using Black Hose Finishers on the black BRAIDED hose is a Very TIght fit. Soaking the end of the hose in hot water will soften the rubber up, making it a little easier to slide on to the fitting.

Why did we build The Clean-n-Cool Remote Oil Filter Set-up?
Two Reasons:
1. We have tried dozens of ways to remove the oil filter without making a mess. Some work better than others, but none work well.
2. Twin Cams run too hot for their own good. A cooler engine runs stronger and lasts longer.
In our tests we saw that by simply relocating the oil filter, the oil temperature was consistently 10-15 degrees cooler.

Common Question we get:
Does the oil cooler or oil filter relocation put extra strain on oil pump?
They do not. Some of the passageways in the engine are much more restrictive than the passageways in the oil cooler & oil filter relocation.
The one factor in the oil loop that can put a load on the oil pump is a paper (OEM & most aftermarket) oil filters.
That is why we use permanent performance oil filters, because with them there is much less strain on the oil pump.
There is no measurable increase or decrease in oil pressure or oil flow when installing either, or both, the oil filter relocation & oil cooler.

Worked well on my 2020 FLHR 0 people found this helpfulI installed this on my my 2020 Road King and ran it for a year. The only issue I encountered was installing the black braided hose over the fittings with the fancy hose clamps installed. The wall thickness of the braided line is significantly thinner than the plan rubber hose option. I also had to change out the 90 degree barbed fittings on the remote adapter so that the hose could be installed without damaging the inner wall. Simple $10 update.

Good product; but doesn't work in all applications. 0 people found this helpfulI bought this a couple of years ago. I like it and it worked as intended. Little tricky getting it all assembled and installed but everything was good. I put this on a 2018 Heritage Classic. Unfortunately I decided to add engine guards and now for this particular Harley model I had to remove it and can't use it. You can kinda rig it up to make it work...but it looks really bad where you would have to do it. I would just give advice to DK to maybe add notes to the product that if you have a M8 Softail with clutch cable on left side of bike and you're using engine guards you may not be able to use this product. Again you can probably rig it to make it work...but it looks bad...I tried. But with all that said...when I did use it I had no issues and would 100% recommend!

Oil filter relocation 0 people found this helpfulLooks great but I had a hard time with the braided hose couldn’t get them over the nipple no matter how much I lubbed them up. Had to swap over to regular hose works well no leaks

Good quality, pretty easy install 0 people found this helpfulRecently installed this on my 2015 Heritage along with the permanent filter. Quality of the product is good, and the install pretty straight forward. Do keep in mind that if you have ABS on your softail, the install will be complicated a little bit by the ABS modulator being in the way, limiting the access for your hands to do what they need to do. This is not the fault of the kit, just be aware that it will be a little bit akward....

You'll need to replace the 90 degree fittings 5 people found this helpfulThis is my second review of this product. My first was only 3 starts on the quality, and since all of the other reviews were 4 or 5 stars, that seems to be the trigger to get a review published on this site. Be that as it may, my only gripe with this product is the lack of planning when choosing the 90 degree hose connectors. The original connectors were too long, so rather than source the proper 90 degree connector, they cut the ramp shorter on one of them so that both could be installed (see pictures). Unfortunately, that alteration destroyed the inner wall of the rubber tubing to the point when I had to stop the installtion. I ended up ordering an alternate set of brass 90 degree connectors from NuWave Marine (Seachoice model #20861). I find it interesting that all of the custom-supplied pictures show 90 degree brass connectors, while the unit I received were silver. The rest of the kit is top notch.

Oil Filter Relocation Kits 3 people found this helpfulI just want to say I’m a dedicated viewer of Bike (Harley) related YouTube videos. This is where I first learned about DK Custom Products located in Hickory Flat, Ms. I’m also a firm believer in spending my money locally if at all possible. Since, I’ve bought two of their Oil Filter Relocation Kits. The first one was for my 2016 HD TriGlide Ultra Classic & the second one was for my 2003 Hertiage Softail Classic. To say I’m completely satisfied with these Relocation Kits wouldn’t do them justice. It makes life so much easier when changing the oil in any bike. In my opinion, they are one of the primary upgrades that everyone should make. The service & quality of their products are the great & all products I’ve purchased so far come with a Lifetime warranty. Who does that? Their staff, including the ladies, couldn’t be more helpful. I personally plan to give them all my business possible. In fact, I have purchased & installed the intimidator valves & the Nexgen Shocks w/the comfort lift & Rider Floorboard extenders for the 2016 TriGlide as well. I strongly recommend that you check them out for any of your bike upgrades.

CNC oil filer relocation kit 2 people found this helpfulFinally decided to purchase the relocation kit. Had some questions and all were thoroughly answered. Very satisfied with the results. No more trying to clean up all the oil that would run out of the filter. Plus I like the idea of lowering the oil temp some during the hot summer months here. On a side note, I purchased the plain rubber hose. Kinda wish I had gotten the black braided hose now. Thanks for the great service DK Customs!

Good Product 2 people found this helpfulI purchased this for my 19 SGS and wish I'd done it 5 years ago. It fits with my chopped engine guard, but it is tight. You'll need to clock the inside filter mount fitting so the hose clears the engine cooling fins, but it does fit. I'm using a Wix filter and there's just enough room to get it off. I may have to get one of these for my 22 Heritage as well.

Like it 0 people found this helpfulFirst off I bought this for my 2015 softail slim here in North Carolina. Mostly I bought this to help cool my bike down some. I ride year round but it’s January here, so I won't know till April if it will work or not. I want to buy the reusable oil filter as well but the relocation kit and filter was just above my budget for now. If nothing else it sure will make the oil change easier and less messy.

Quality Product 2 people found this helpfulI finally got around to installing this and although the process is simple in theory, my situation proved to be challenging. My issue was a very tight fit for the oil filter mount on the frame downtube making it difficult to fully tighten and torque the mount. I also had a difficult time getting the shims to stay on while mounting the oil filter mount even though I had the pins in. All that being said I am really happy with the results. Seems like a very solid mount and product overall. After a few hundred miles it stayed in place. I even flogged the hell out of my bike for a bit getting the RPMS up over 4k just to make sure nothing 'popped' off. I would definitely recommend this product, just have patience with the installation. Another quality product from DK Customs. Installed on 2018 Road King with a S&S 124 kit.

Riding in Texas heat, there is a noticeable difference in heat from the oil tank and up through the oil cap. Really happy with this upgrade.

Everything is in the kit to easily relocate your oil filter, and I can tell right away that every oil change is going to be much cleaner. Very happy with my purchase

Excellent product 1 people found this helpfulInstalled on 2019 Softail Slim. Had to loosen stock oil cooler to get bracket on and used the thinnest of the shims to get bracket to fit. I ordered the braided hose option but used the black rubber hose and black hose clamps instead as they looked better on the Slim. Routed the clutch cable between the oil lines. Very clean installation and quality is top notch.

Great product and fits a Road Glide 1 people found this helpfulThe fit and finish on this kit is top notch and installation was easy. I am looking forward to easy oil changes going forward. I did include the OUTLAW High Performance Cleanable Oil Filter in Polished Finish with this install. A couple of notes. First, this fits a 2017 Road Glide perfectly. Secondly, check the oil filter gasket carefully and reseat if needed. Mine was not flat.

Great product 1 people found this helpfulSo I read somewhere 8 to 10 hp increase, I thought BS, my stage one may not even do that. Well to my surprise there was an increase but can't tell you how much. I will say this that I never wanted to red line my dyna before, seemed like a struggle to do so. When I installed it on first ride it was effortless to get it to 5900 rpm in several gears. Also I have a tuner on my bike and I can keep track of my oil temp and it does run cooler. I would highly recomend this product. For the money it's a great bang for the buck.
